Fall tree maintenance to be scheduled.
Fall tree maintenance is coming up. A professional arborist will be inspecting all the trees and identifying those needing attention such a pruning, disease treatment, or removal and provide a proposal to the Board. After the Board reviews the proposal, the approved work will be scheduled.

I sincerely hope the 30+ foot Aristocrat Pear can be saved on Riddell - there is an issue with its roots, however I believe this situation can be remedied by arching or multi-segment concrete repairs, realignment of stepping stones and removed of a small understory shrub in order to make adjustments to the stepping stones. It will be interesting to see what the tree contractor recommends. - Corinna

Thanks for posting the comments. I spoke to Lyra - she was already aware of two dead trees on Parfait.
I agree - it would nice to able to keep the Aristocrat Pear.
Tree maintenance walkthrough was today. With regard to the 30+ ft Aristocrat Pear - right now it looks like the root that goes under the sidewalk could be cut off without hurting the health of the tree.
